IFS Fun Facts! [Part 1]

Yeah, everyone... We've got some fun facts to share!

• The oldest two Squaders, Wira & Aldo, have exactly the same birthdate! They were born on December 28th, 1990.
• The youngest in The Squad is Rizki... She was born on December 26th, 1993.
• The first Regional Squad to reach Century Park hotel was Makassar Squad, whose plane landed earliest in the morning... then Elisa from Jakarta Squad came half an hour later
• The last Squader to come was Nadira (Jakarta squad), who came shortly after the NAD Squad arrived! =)
• We have several theme songs... not only that old faithful 'FUNtastic GENeration' by our leaders [Mrs. Rini and Mr. Wardi Wahid], but... he, 'Pandangan Pertama' [Lydia & Dea's theme], 'I'm Yours' [2008 Squaders' Cultural Nite theme], 'With You' [Farewell midnight party's theme], and 'Everything' [Nadira's theme!! It made Rizki annoyed with that song ringing nearly 100 times at one night!!] =)
• The best couple was Zein and Dappy [always together, from the first lunch to the last dinner at the bus on the way to Cengkareng]
• The most extreme couple... well, Adinda and Fauzal [imagine 'date' on a Tornado or even on a roller-coaster?!]
• Besides being awarded 'Earliest Squad', Makassar Squad is also awarded 'The Most Contaminated' by All Squaders... =)
• The heaviest shopping girl was... well, I bet they're Dhiela, Mardha and Cindy... =) when we all went for a ride, they went shopping!

Makassar's Story: A Small Reunion

Yeah, all... I'm Rizki... =)

Recently Mardha came to Makassar * and today she's going back to Banda Aceh ='( * for The National Science Olympiad (OSN) ... here, she'd met me, Daddy Zein and Sister Cindy... *Dila was going to Palopo at that time!!*

Yesterday I even introduced her to my schoolmate named Angela (one of Makassar's IFS Audition participant, but unfortunately ranked 52nd) ... they got to know closer to each other...

We went to Fort Rotterdam and Losari Beach for taking some photos. (We looked too narcissistic in some photos) Then we guys... sad to say, but we parted at Somba Opu street at 5pm. Hiks...

Last Stand or not?

So this is the blog, I dunno what to say, but whoever out there reading this.
I just want you to know something, this can be the last of us.
I don't care what it is, but you should already know why this can be the last.
If you don't want it to be like that, then make another competition.

That's all I can say. Oh yeah, that hotel was full of roaches :)

These names listed are members of The National Squad. The regional squad's names will be submitted later...

The members of The Squad are 16 smart, confident and FUNtastic state public high school students from all over the nation. We love to meet new people from the public...

and our goal is:

1) To serve the nation by providing an interesting edutainment as a media of learning English,
2) To increase our English ability [especially in the 4 main criteria: speaking, reading, listening and writing]
3) To promote Indonesia in the international world [the prize is a trip to USA for national best 4]

This event is enforced by U.S. Embassy in Indonesia, TV Consult, LBPP LIA and TVRI as the main broadcaster.
